PEPPERMINT TWIST

Here's a peek at our Christmas table from today's lunch. It was a quick and easy set up with peppermint candies as decor. I filled vases with peppermint balls, scattered peppermint discs along the middle of the table as a runner. Red & White gingham flatware, red charger plates, white dinner plates and peppermint salad plates finished off the look. Merry Christmas!!

GRINCH PARTY

Last weekend I traveled to Vincennes to help my sister throw a Christmas party for her second grade class. We chose How The Grinch Stole Christmas as a theme. The party included a long table with bright colors, a whimsical Christmas tree, and a giant Grinch and Max.

The best part of the day was to see the faces on the children as they walked into the room after recess.

And, oh yeah, there was a little candy buffet with giant lollipops that soon became the coolest game of "who can fit the entire lolli in their mouth".

FAREWELL TO OUR FURRY BABY

We lost our little Westie-Harley on Saturday. He was such a great dog with a spirited personality. He brought so much life to our home and taught us so much about love. We miss you so much little buddy!
